Look at the Dog
Now shift your attention to the dog.
A dog walking through fresh snow would normally leave some kind of evidence behind.
Depending on the image, that might be footprints, disturbed snow, or a visible trail.
So ask yourself:
Does what you see on the ground match what the dog appears to be doing?
Don’t worry if you haven’t found the answer yet.
Keep looking.
Look at the Man
Now examine the man’s path through the snow.
Where are his footprints?
Do they appear to connect naturally with his position?
Does the direction of travel make sense?
Sometimes the easiest way to solve a visual puzzle is to mentally reconstruct the scene.
Imagine the person actually walking through the landscape.
Then compare that mental picture with what’s shown.
If something doesn’t line up, you’ve probably found the clue.
