A new wave of attention surrounding Kate Middleton and Prince William has left royal watchers asking questions.
A headline circulating online claims that William has made an important announcement about Kate, followed by the mysterious words: “She’s not…”
But there is a problem with that headline.
The sentence is incomplete.
Without the missing portion of the original report, readers are left to fill in the blanks themselves. And when it comes to the British royal family, that can quickly lead to speculation, exaggerated social-media posts, and claims that sound much more dramatic than the confirmed facts.
What is actually known is considerably more grounded.
William and Kate continue to appear together publicly, carrying out official duties and representing the royal family. Most recently, the couple visited the Isle of Bute in Scotland on September 17, where they met local residents, volunteers, athletes and people involved in environmental work.
