One day I ignored him and sat down anyway.

Grandpa smiled, came to my ear and whispered:

“Can you come to sleep by my side tonight?” kara

At the time I was only nine years old, but even at that age I could feel that something was not right.

My grandfather, George, had always been the quietest person in ours  family. He never raised his voice, rarely got angry, and every time we went to visit him, he would keep chocolate in the refrigerator especially for me.
